I assume this will turn into a whole lot of "I wish I had my split window 'Vette back" but I figured I'd post anyway because mine is a little less expected.
Though I'm only 26, I've gone through quite a few cars (7 to be exact). While I love my current car ('06 Charger R/T), I really miss one vehicle in particular: 1998 Blazer 2-door 4x4. This was unique and just a blast to drive, not because it was fast (it wasn't) or because it was great on gas (it wasn't, I averaged 12 mpg), but because it had a go anywhere stance and a do anything attitude! It was a blast and the more I see Blazers come in beaten and battered, the more I realize just how nice mine was.
Here's a pic for nostalgia's sake:
So, what car that you owned, do you wish you had back? (Please don't go into a choice just because that car is worth "so much now" rant)

This ol' bastard.
Well maybe not exactly this one.
But if I could find a pristine Texas driven 1991 2WD S-10 with a 2.8l V6 and a 5 speed, single cab for a couple grand, I know what I would be daily driving.
Bought mine for $200 to bail a friend out of jail with 135,000 miles on it, I put another very hard 50k on it until a rod decided it no longer wished to be contained by the block.
I miss this truck like a dead best friend.

There are two... my first car, a 1997 Infiniti J30, black exterior, black leather interior with real wood grain, fully loaded. Totaled it 5 months after I got it.
The other one was a 1998 Mazda Millenia S, also fully loaded. Gold exterior, tan leather interior, drove super well. Engine caught fire 4 or 5 months after I got it. Loved them both and I would love to have them back.

I had a 1984 Camaro Berlinetta. That car was unbelievably fun for being an automatic and a V6. Only had it for a couple months until it wouldn't start anymore and I eventually had to junk it. Worst decision of my life. I miss that car.

There's a guy in my apartment complex with a 2-door Blazer that seems to do double duty as a daily driver and a drag car. I've seen drag slicks piled in the back, there's a killswitch on the rear bumper, and it has a bunch of drag strip stickers on the driver's side rear windows.
Anyway, to answer your question I had a 1993 Toyota Corolla before I bought my Miata. I kinda miss the Corolla every once in a while, in all of its brokenness and unapologetic base modelness.

I'm not qualified to answer this but my father has owned 4 1970 Dodge Challengers in his life, including one which was using an 850HP ~460ci 9500rpm redline solid cam twin 4-barrel carb'd nitro-methane fueled 413 Wedge attached to a Nascar 4-speed transmission.
I think it's pretty obvious what car would be best if it was brought back from the dead.

That's crazy! I wonder what kind of monstrosity he stuck under the hood because mine had the 4.3 and I got passed by just about everyone...which leads me to my next thought that I probably had something going wrong in there. I've had many people tell me that my fuel economy and pickup were both way lower than what they've experienced.
And I had an 89 Camry and I know what you mean.

It's like some Gran Turismo fantasy come true. Ran on nitromethane, rather than being supercharged, which means that it would idle at like, 700 rpm and get 25mpg with only two of the four barrels open on the carb. I imagine you could drive around all day without going over 3000rpm because of how much torque it would have.

EASY! My 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Mega Cab 2WD. It was the very first car I bought new. I was 22 when I bought it, I felt for the first time I had accomplished something. I have had many other new cars since then, some of them way more expensive(Challenger SRT8) but the truck is the only vehicle I ever had an emotional attachment to. I would love to have it back (I don't want another one just like it, I want that exact truck).

I wish I had my '87 Chevy Sprint back. (This is not a picture of mine, just for illustration.)
I've actually owned 2 silver 5-door Sprints, an '87 and an '88. Even though the '88 had a/c and cruise control and several other options, I loved my '87. I bought it sometime in 1996 if I remember right. It was a silver 5-door with a manual, and am/fm radio. THAT'S IT. No rear defroster or wiper, exposed metal on the doors, just a basic car. It had no pretenses. It had a whopping 48 hp from its tiny 3-banger, and it didn't really feel like it had as many as that. 0-60 happened a few times. One of my co-workers (admittedly a VERY fit guy) could lift the rear corner up off the ground. 5 tires (spare was full-size) cost $100. It got 40-50 MPG, and when gas dropped to $.79 per gal in the late 90's, it cost under $6 to fill it up.
I used to have to drive on C-470, the southwest portion of the ring highway around the Denver metro area, to get to work. That meant I had to go up a steep hill just east of Santa Fe Drive. I would have to be going at least 70 MPH, slam it into 3rd gear, and keep it floored to get up the hill; if I was lucky, I'd be going 50 MPH at the top.
Once, it blew a front tire while I was driving home on C-470. I lost control and contacted the Taurus next to me, then spun around and came to a stop in the median. I got out expecting there to be all kinds of damage. Instead, the only damage to my Sprint was a broken mirror and 2 tires that came off the rim because the car was skidding on them sideways. I approached the driver of the Taurus, and saw his car had a small area above the passenger rear door handle that was missing paint. It was about an inch long and about a third of an inch high. That was it. He never even filed a claim with me. I guess it was a bit like throwing an empty Coke can at a boulder; the boulder of course wins but the Coke can doesn't get much damage either.
Because I was young and stupid with finances, I traded it in when the clutch failed. The '87 Integra I traded it for turned out to be probably the worst car I've owned; I don't know why it was so unreliable. I should have scraped together the couple hundred bucks to fix the clutch instead. I miss it. More so because they have mostly vanished here.

yup she was a big one, 24ft long I loved it dearly. I don't really know what I was thinking when I bought it but I was like WOW look at all that legroom.
A cool thing about it is that the back seats fold down and I could put an air mattress back there. Who needs a tent when you have a ram mega cab?
The only difference with the 1500 vs the 2500 was the 1500 had softer springs. everything else was identical to a 2500 it even had 8 bolt wheels.

really don't miss any previous cars I have owned(only have sold 2). The car Im semi trying to track down is a pickup my grandpa built. He sold it when I was only 5 or 6 but I loved that truck. It was a 55 Chevy big back window that was a radical custom. It was chopped channeled and sectioned. Bed alone had over 20 mods. Last time I saw a pic of it, it was some car show in Australia.

I messed up big selling this bad boy. No air conditioning, no antilock brakes, no power windows or doors. 65,000 miles. One old man owner before me. On the snow tires I had it could either fill in for plow duty or play parking lot drift king. It taught me more about cornering technique, preserving momentum, and car control than anything I have owned before or after. I only sold it about three months ago and I sincerely regret it.

That's because, like most small trucks from the '80s and early '90s, every single one has met one of the following three fates: 1. Orlove'd to death by an idiot teenager; 2. taken to Mexico via either theft or trade-in and auction; or 3. succumbed to rust and neglect while their methhead owner did time.

My first car was a 2001 Nissan xTerra. Base trim with 4wd. Power nothing, auto (but, god, how I wish it was stick). It had a really cool tribal-ish blue sea turtle sticker on the back that my mom found in Hawaii. By the time I got rid of it it had 250,000 miles on the clock and was still running pretty strong.
